Design and Data Analysis Portfolio

A large portion of my research involves the use of technology to further scientific discovery, communication, and collaboration. Through two different web projects, I have worked to expand and improve the tools available to scientists for conducting the everyday tasks of "doing science," like archiving data and coordinating cooperative research.

I also conduct a large portion of my own research on my computer, through simulations and comparative analyses conducted on both the R and MATLAB platforms. In the spirit of progress and "open" science, I've included all the relevant code for any of my previous projects in this section. Feel free to use and tinker with any of the code, but please make sure to attribute any original portions of code to the original author(s), as I have in all included files.

Finally, as working with large, publicly accessible databases is pretty much an everyday part of my work, I have posted some of my favorite datasets, as well as links to my publicly available datasets.
